Flash Firmware

The control board has a bootloader that checks the SD card for a new firmware on start up, if for some reason a "bad" firmware is flashed it is always posible to recover by flashing a working one. A backup firmware is already on the SD card in the Firmware folder. It is recommended to backup both firmware and config file before flashing a new firmware.

  • Attach the control board either using USB or MicroSD adapter
  • Copy the firmware.bin file to the root of the filesystem
  • Safely detach storage device
  • Reset control board

Reset the system by either sending the "reset" command via terminal or web interface or by unpluging the USB port and turning off the power supply for a few seconds, then power the system up again.
